I like the looks of these. How much of a pain in the ass are they to install and code? Might get a set in the near future.

no more difficult than any other lamp unit. coding is same as any other tweak, play around until it looks right. theres a few ppl working on this so if u buy by the time u install, it should all be squared away. There is tons of install HID and coding info in this thread alone from the begining

Yes, I give a standard transit time of 2 weeks. Usually makes its to your door step a day or few ahead of time.

Got mine in weds. Installed thursday (took an hour to figure out how to remove everything). Waiting for Vagcom to disable DRL (warning light comes on dash). Love it. Thanks SFvalleyGTI!

They look like all the other pictures out there so nothing new to show. While installing, I finally lined the inner badge with an LED strip from autozone. It's inspired by

The quality is top notch and it was fairly easy to remove and install the new ones. Looking for a better spot to mount the ballasts. I have 4300K bulbs and thinking of getting the 6000K ones to match everything. Love the new lights and they work really well functionally.

Darth, how did you code the headlights? I dont know if I'd want to run both the LEDs and the low beams at the same time. I think I'd want the LED's to run as my DRL's. Did you buy the euro switch?
