I switched to Akebono ceramic compound after about six months of trying the Hawk HPS street pads. Performance is on par with OEM but was looking for something that has less brake dust.
Lots of life left on these pads for someone looking for an aftermarket OEM replacement.

Honestly, getting a gravel bike inspired me to get out more and explore the trails and paths I never considered riding using either a road bike or mountain bike before my purchase.
Btw, carbon is a great choice paired with a tubeless setup if comfort and light weight top your list of priorities.
Camelbaks are good. I've switched to a fanny pack a couple of years ago. Weight distribution is lower and on the hips instead of the back. Storage capacity is less, but my back isn't hot and sweaty anymore.

Up for sale are a pair of Golf R brake calipers and iSweep 1500 ceramic pads. Calipers only have 40k miles. iSweep brake pads logged 7,500 miles and barely dust up the wheels between bi-weekly washes.
