So you just live with dislocating shoulders? No thanks, man. I've dislocated twice, and both times were the worst pain I've ever felt. Get that repair done, the recovery isn't that bad.
Yup haha. The medical term for it is "multidirectional instability." Basically, there was no accident or anything, that's just the way those joints formed. Honestly, when it slides out, it's not really painful. It's definitely jarring since you can't move it anymore, but at least up to this point, I've always been able to slide it back in myself. Though it is getting harder to do that as life progresses. If it gets to the point where it happens and I have to go to the ER to get it put back, then I'll consider it. If I'm careful, it really only happens once or so a year. Last time was when I was laying next to the car and reached over my head to slide the jack under the pinch weld haha.
