Getting a lot of squealing with breaks in parking lot...

Atty

Ready to race!
I'm at 25,XXX miles. I've never done any wheel work or brake work, nor suspension.

My pads seem to be squealing under low speed slow braking, such as you do in parking lots. I don't think there would be too much wear on my brakes. I don't brake if I don't have to - coast or engine brake as much as I can. What is the normal life of our pads? Is it just pads that is causing it?

Any tips to eliminate that noise?

Your rears could be going, have them checked out. Rears go quick on these platforms.

Sounds about time to change the rear pads probably.

If your fronts are still ok, I'd wait on em, but your call. If you don't mind a little dust, the Stoptech Street performance pads are incredible, imho.

The front ones last a while. The rears are good for 25-35k.
Get Stop Tech pads for all corners.
