Son and I installed the RSR DIY clutch:

- I opted to not remove the subframe, I didn't want to go through the trouble of ordering the new bolts and more disassembly and reassembly

- I was able to get the Transmission out with a little bit of manipulation

- When I removed the bolts on the transmission mount, I removed the top three bolts on the mount itself. I ended up having to remove the plate (between the transmission mount and transmission) off of the transmission to make more room to get it out (see below picture)
First bolts taken out

Second bolts removed for clearance

- Removed the TOB and cleaned out all of the debris with some carb cleaner and a rag. Greased up the spline and installed the new TOB

Stock PP before it was removed

What mileage did you have on your stock clutch before the RSR? How was the condition of your flywheel?

I have a new project in mind and i havent seen it done yet. I have an extra set of "r" led fogs and i want to fabricate brakets form them (upside down to fit properly) in the lower fron grille and use amber lanix films on them. The picture is not my car, its just to give a visual.

I want to put these in the lower grille.

On the left and right sides here

Usb hardwire mod:

Bought this at O'Reilly Autoparts

Split the plastic case and cut the 12v adapter portion off

Used a soldering gun to remove the 12v hardware and soldered in the positive (where the nipple for 12v was) and negative (two places on either side), running the two negatives into a connector, with one negative wire coming out of the opposite end and shrink wrapped.

Sanded all four sides of the remaining square portion of the platic until i got a snug fit, where i popped out the console tab.

Using a terminal tester, i found the positive wire on the 12v wire harness (center wire on my car), spliced the positive wire there and the spliced the negative wire into the remaining larger gauge wire. Reinstalled the console. Final product.
