Proper Shift Points For 2012 Golf R?

Hello Fellow Golf R Owners!

Quick question? What are the proper shift points when trying to achieve maximum horse power / torque / speed? I've been taking the RPM's to around just right at the red line and then I shift. I try to do this for every gear when I'm racing. I don't want to hurt the engine though so I'm wondering what is recommended?

Based upon APR data for a stock tune, I'd estimate between 4,500 and 5,500.

There is a youtube video on this matter. Redline is correct. The torque drop off by going to a higher gear earlier is worse than going from 4k rpm to 7k rpm drop off.
