From the install:
Had a lift and an engine bar. Wasn't as helpful a combination as it might seem.
Zip-tied the starter out of the way
So here we are with the transmission unbolted, trying to wiggle it out. Unfortunately we couldn't find a way to do that with the subframe on. Just wasn't enough space without hitting the downpipe, frame, subframe or clutch.
Subframe contact
Flywheel/pressure plate contact
We did eventually get the beast out of there. Notice the lack of a subframe, though. Didn't have the bolts to replace, so I used the old ones. Looks like I have a project for next weekend now, too
My tranny had some shards in there
Old TOB
New hotness
Old clutch (bottom) vs new RSR (top). Hey HS, go ahead and use this photo if you like
Old PP surface
Old plate
New plate
Flywheel condition
LOTS of dust. Cleaned it out with a blow nozzle and pressurized air.
Didn't have an alignment tool, but it was alright. Found a suitable socket to put into the disk and the inner race of the engine output shaft had a light chamfer, so pressing the socket against it aligned the disk nicely.
