ok, odd question ....
As some of you saw, I recently had my 2010 DSG replaced, along with new mechatronics (warrantied!!! WOOT!!! :thumbsup
I've been driving VERY LITTLE the week I've had it back, but took my first "big" highway drive last night, and noticed something odd.
previously, while highway cruising, I'd be at 3200rpm at 75mph -- 6th gear/D etc.
Now I've noticed I'm pretty much right at 3000rpm at 75mph. The reason I noticed??? DRONE.... like LOTS OF DRONE.
I have a turbo-back exhause with no cat (SPM DP to EuroJet CBE) , and I cant believe how much more drone I suddenly have at 3000rpm/75mph.
anyone know if the final drive ratio, or 6th gear, has been slightly changed from 2010 DSG models to 2013??? (or know where I could look)??
I may have to change up my exhaust set up at this point, cuz it's LOOOOUUUDDD..... like ear-drum buzzing LOUD (and I'd rather not cruise at 80mph to sit at what now would be 3200rpm)....
