How much do the Denvers (17") weigh?

The title pretty much sums it up. I'm considering aftermarket wheels when I take delivery this Spring, and I'd like to stick to 17s. Apart from an improvement in appearance, I'd like to trim some of the weight, too, but I don't know what the stock wheels weigh. Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Kevin

~23Ibs. Are yours stamped Ronal?

Check the new tires too as they can vary between 21-25lbs

Thanks! Now I'll have something to go by when considering aftermarket wheels. I haven't taken delivery of the vehicle yet, so I'm not sure what stamps will be on the wheels.

WOW! If that is true, what do my 18"'s weigh?

I am pretty sure they are Aluminum vs steel so hopefully they do not weigh any more than that.

At rotation time, I am going to weigh the wheel/tire to see how much it is.

If they really weigh 29 Lbs, it will not be to hard to find a lighter wheel.

I weighed a 17" tire/wheel combo. It was 47.5 lbs. Continental says their tire weighs in at 21 lbs. So that has the Denver at 26.5 lbs. No lightweight, but I guess it was designed to stand up to everyday use.
