Hey Mau, I was wondering if you could answer a simple question for me... Is the wheel bolt pattern still 5x112?

Monkfishdan,please explain me,i don't understand!!!! :)

how did you break the motor in??

there are like 2 main ideals...

1) when you first get it you run the living piss out of it to set the motor...

2) run it really gentle for a while to let the motor settle in...

personally i'd choose #2... its what i did on my Mk5

I cant believe you would put such a nice car through this type of carwash
Your paintwork will be destroyed in a very short time:thumbdown:

Nice photo. Please don't take offence, but, l would support andymac's comments. Those carwash brushes will scratch the hell out of your paintwork. Might not be quite so obvious in Candy White.

It's your car to do with as you wish but it seems a shame to damage the paintwork in that way.

It's a golf, not a lamborghini. I think VW paint jobs can handle a machine washing.

NO paint job will "handle" a machine wash. You'll get micro scratches from tip to toe. If that doesn't bother you, fine.
I, for one, want to keep my duco as pristine as possible. Hand wash with quality mittens and dry with microfibre towels.
