Very nice.
Im often in the toon as i work there. If a shadow blue mk5 GTI or silver SEAT leon flashes at you don't worry its only this nutter. Afterall i seem to be sitting in roadworks all day long at the moment so your bound to pass me at some point.

Yeah very. It was really my first time at doing that sort of thing, I just dont have the patience to paint so thats why I let my girlfriend do it

Thanks, mine took a while, ordered on 5th Jan but because wanted a few extras its taken until yesterday to get it delivered

These are just replicas from www.alloywheels.com, but if you're looking for the Genuine BBS alloys, try some Mk5GTI forums with classifieds, saw a few on there

Car drives brilliantly, love the clunk when you shut the doors haha. Feels quite expensive inside :thumbup:

The painting came out really well.
Maybe i should brave a go as well.

It took you 11 weeks?

when the dealer said it takes 8 to 12 weeks, i was hoping it was nearer to 8, but i guess it will be worth the wait :)

The factorys only working a 3 day week at the moment iirc so it takes alittle longer. It also depends on when they file the order due to shipping times.

I have an odd request to any mk6 owner.
You maybe able to help me with this.
The spare wheel well, were the spare tyre is.
If you remove the sparewheel what height is available in there before you get upto the boot floor level?

from what i remember theres only enough room for a slim spacesaver spare wheel... i'd have to check to be sure.

What i do remember for defo is that the tyres on the car are continental, the spare is Kumho.. why different??

They often come up on ebay. But places like

Seems to have a lack of mk6 golf photos if you feel like posting on a UK mk6 forum as well. I know its not a GTI but its as near as anyone can get at the moment lol.
