After a three month wait that just seemed to go on and on, it's finally here.
And my girlfriend decided to name it Bruce. Haha, so Bruce it is.

Here you go guys some photos as i promised

The specs on the car is:

I got the Golf GT (158bhp version) 5 door with DSG.

with optional extras:

5 doors
DSG
Pearl Black metalic paint
Bluetooth
Sat Nav
Dynaudio
Front/Rear parking sensors (Not park assist btw)
Storage pack
luxury pack (auto-diming interior rear mirror, coming/leaving home headlight function, front footwell light, rain sensor, Electric foldable wing mirror)
Winter Pack (Headlight washer, heated washer, heated seats)

Here are the photos!
It was cloudy all day and raining on and off that day, so the photos aren't great, but anyway...

And here are some photos of a model of my car, Mini-Bruce, for fun. :happyanim:

Also, when I went to pick the car up, there was a brand new Golf GTI on display so I thought you guys might be interested in seeing a few photos of it. :)

Awesome pics. Black looks so good but after almost 2 years of my black MKV, I think I'm gonna go with a white GTI for the MKVI. Hoping to get it fully loaded just like Bruce though :D

Thanks again for the pics. I'm jealous and can't wait to order mine.

Thanks guys for the congratulations, I LOVE IT!!! I'm sure you guys will too, once you get yours.

HyeWarrior, regarding the DynAudio set up, the Quality is great, I haven't heard the standard audio setup, so I can't really compare and tell you how much better it is.

However, I'm not sure if my set is faulty or they are all generally a bit like that, there is a bit of vibration on the tweeter speaker. You know some notes sounds a bit steely/metallic, if that makes sense.

It's not as good as the set up on my dad's 3 series, I think his is Logic-7, but better than most of my mate's cars.

It's not perfect, there's some bits i just can't quite put my finger on, it's great but just something feels missing a bit.

Give that it's a small car, i noticed that the speakers seemed to have been balanced a little bit too far forward.

Maybe it's just the type of music I listen to, (a lot of classical music and Hip-hop) but since I rarely have rear passengers anyway, I think for the front passenger and the driver it sounds better to adjust the balance one or two clicks to the back.

All of this is my personal opinion, but I'm not an audio specialist, not even an enthusiast, I don't know much about audio set ups, I just like listening to music from good quality system. So don't take my word for it, it's only how i personally feel. I'm sure others can give you better feed back than my little rant.

Congratulations! Have you done a lot of driving yet? How's do you like the TSI?

What did you drive before this? I came from a saturn... but did about 4-5 months of research before choosing my vw lol and I must say I'm so damn happy with her! Had it for about a year now =)

Keep posting new pics if you travel anywhere... Looks gorgeous!!

Sweet looking ride man! Congrats! I just wish VW would iron out these "little quirks" I keep hearing about. lol It definitely makes me wonder about dependability...but still so tempting! :)

Man congrats on the car!

I really appreciate the pics of the GTI. Those are the first "in-person" pics I've seen that were good quality, I'm tired of the photo shop pics.

Hey, Congrats on your car. Good luck to the challenges on keeping the black clean and spotless. I know, I used to have a black civic sports.

You say you got a GT but it has the same badging as mine i.e. TSI, any GT badges anywhere?

Thanks guys,
In England, The SE version comes with TSI, with the I in red, and the GT versions come with TSI with the SI in red, Apart from that, there aren't any specific GT badges that comes with the car, the only other ways you can tell apart te cars are looking at extras, that are not an option for the SE version, such as the brush chrome trim, the Porto alloys, Cherry red rear lights, microfibre seats, etc. But to be honest, I'm not really fussed, whether my car looks like the standard SE class or the upgraded GT class, I paid the extra costs, for the supercharged engine, and the other subtle differences that comes with the car. It's more a personal enjoyment, than anything else I guess.
But yeah, answering your question. Nope no extra GT badges, shame really.
