A comlete newbie to Golfs here. Got my Mk 6 about 6 hours ago and already wonder why I never had one before. Anyway I've managed to turn the DRLs off and back on again. The user manual is slightly confusing as it says push the lights stalk down, and rear to turn the DRLs off. I think it means to the rear of the car as it then says headlight flash. On my car I did stalk down to left indicator and PULL and hold for headlight flash then turn on ignition for 3 secs, keep holding the headlight flash. After the chime sounds the DRLs are off. To turn back on again select up, right indicator pull and hold, ignition on for 3 seconds. After the chime the DRLs are back on.
By the way my car does not have Auto lights so I don't know if this makes a difference.
