BBS CH 18x8 ET50 on GTI 09

Hello this is my first post on this forum. Please can you tell me is it possible to put on my GTI wheels BBS CH 18x8 ET50 withe tires 235/40 . For information supspension is standard and I thin that It will stay like that because we have terrible roads in Poland :/

Normally they use 225/40 on an 18x8 wheel but the slighty bigger tire isn't going to be a problem to fit the wheels

I really would like to buy these wheels but in my country price for these wheels is double bigger than in USA. Maybe if I will get some extra cash :) Anyway 235/40 on 18x8 will be same like 225/40 on 18x7,5 I hope :)

That is exactly how I want my GTI to look. I've got a set of 8x18" et45 CH replicas that I'm getting powder coated silver, since they are an ugly flat black with red anodized lip... ewww! Couldn't pass them up for the price though seeing that they are brand new.
