Hmmm.. Out the door prices depend on the taxes and fees in your area.

Looking though, it seems prices on GTIs have crept up a little. In 2011 I paid just under $25k before tax/license for my 2 door sunroof-nav manual transmission GTI.

Think you have a decent deal. I've paid for my 12 GTI 2dr with Sun/Nav package,DSG out the door for right around $30k.

Thats not a terrible deal considering NY sales taxes and other fees are crazy.

Where are you located in NY if you are local to me i can refer you to an awesome salesperson who knocked off 1000 from the lowest offer of any ny dealer in the area.

How I got the best deal on my GTI is that I got several quotes from different dealers and made them fight with eachother. I am sure you can get a lot better deal, like $27,000. Recently, a dealer contacted me telling me he can sell me an autobahn CW GTI 4 door manual for $27,000! I was so pissed because i JUST got my GTI.
