Paint color
Does anyone know if there is a sticker somewhere in the car with the paint color code? I can't find it anywhere.
For a 2010 deep black metallic GTI, is it LC9Z Z4, or can the code vary from lot to lot for the same color? |

I believe that info is on the driver door jam id sticker that has the serial number etc.
Is the 2010 black the same as the 2009 black for the gti? I am not even sure if the gti black is the same as the golf black....... I would venture to say that all 2010 gti blacks are identical by rights........ |

Yeah, I already looked there - no color code. Nothin in engine bay either.
I looked in the trunk, under the wheel cover there is a sticker with a code PP TV 20 - could that be it? |

Just curious, but is the dealer able to provide you the paint code?
I would assume that each paint color has one paint code associated with it, but I am not certain if that is the case. I ordered some carbon gray touch up paint and the dealer used a code for the order. Of course, that was nearly three weeks ago and no paint yet. |
