I'd also love to be a beta tester!

Only modification is a DMH electric exhaust cutout installed between the resonator and mufflers.

Doug shared on FB that the project has been cancelled. They ran into multiple challenges trying to get pieces to fit without major modifications to the surrounding components, while still staying on budget.

Unfortunately, Frankenturbo may no longer be a player in the 2.5 market.

Besides C2 Motorsports and JDL what other turbo kits are out there for the 2.5?

Expensive as hell!

Yea it's very expensive... Plus you have to get a new clutch.

I have find this : https://www.hansautoparts.com/25TurboKit.aspx

I know it's not a full kit, but for 600$usd for the exhaust manifold and the turbo-to-downpipe, which is bolt-on, it's a good price. I have also read, that for the same price, he can send you a K04 turbo (A wastegaste is supplied I think). You would need to get an intercooler and the piping, but I'm pretty sure you can get it for less than 800$. Then, you have to get a oil supply line, catchcan, injectors.

Then, you have to get forged rods and pistons or you could get a head spacer kit to reduce compression and it would be less expensive than forged rods and pistons. After that you would need a tune, UM can do it for sure. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, it would be a less expensive setup. I don't know if you can trust Hans auto parts, I have seen that they sell their kit on eBay too and I see a lot of google ads from them, I don't why a scammer would pay that much on ads, but these days we don't know how far scammer can go...
