Stock Boost Numbers?

Did some digging to see what the R makes boost wise totally stock.

Came across this: http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showth...ght=stock+logs

Looks like it peaks at 18, holds closer to 15-16 and tapers in the upper RPMs down to 13?

Can anyone confirm? There aren't many threads floating around for the R on this topic. Every other one is for the GTI lol.

I was just curious. Installed my boost gauge last night and it looks like on the highway going WOT in 4th I'm peaking at 21-22 and holding 19ish and then it starts to taper to 16 closer to redline. I'm Unitronic Stage 1 for reference.

Found this as well on Wikipedia: "Larger K04 turbo producing 1.2 bar of boost (+3 PSI over K03 equipped GTI)"

So thats like 17.4 PSI stock it seems.

Regarding APR's stage 1. What are the turbo boost specs? The website does not elaborate.

Anecdotal: Iíve seen my peak at 22 but only for a moment, 18 sounds about right, thatís when the popoff must start kicking in.

stock, but I have an CAI, 3" DP + 200 cell Cat, and GFB diverter upgrade. Last week I was driving and it peaked at 25 when I was doing a pass on the interstate (3,500 rpm).
