How would I pair my ecu to the new engine?
THe engine seller (new engine, reputable shop) said that the ECU would work, but that it would throw a code for a sensor that reads the 3rd cat (which wont be used on the ccta). The shop offers a re-flash of the ecu (for a fee). Im guessing that the flash tells the ecu to disable the sensor. He also says that the flash is a power bump (equivalent to a stage 2 flash).

I havent done it, though, because ill lose my APR stage 2 flash thats already installed....

Hope the shop isnt wrong...if they are, and the car goes into limp mode, im pretty fucked until at least 2 semesters....ill be tapped out, time-wise (and money-wise).

I keep hearing stories here and there about shops doing this swap and that its straightforward....
Im getting super worried now....lol...wtf did I get my ass into...

Does ANYONE have knowledge of a shop thats done this?
