Hey guys! This is my first build thread I've done. I wanted to do one to help document what I've done to my car and because who doesn't like a build thread? Just a bit of car history, it started with my 2000 Civic and grew from there. After messing with Honda's, I got into VW's and the rest is history. He's some random pics of my car.

My MK5 GTI with my buddy's R32. The height difference was so unreal. We ran over a pine cone in the R32 & it hit his skid plate. We couldn't help but laugh

Update! Got the Beluga DP a few weeks ago and installed it at work. Between myself and another tech we knocked it out in an hour. Loooove the sound, its so much louder when you're above 3k RPM. Next up is installing my boost gauge. Had the one from my MK5 I but didn't have the correct boost tap bc that car had a catch can.

Update.

Water pump took a dump on lunch a few weeks ago and working at a dealer I thought I'd just get a new one and do it myself. Well my price was only $20 cheaper than my deductible on my extended warranty so I did that because the cam cradle was leaking as well. So after a few weeks I finally got approved for the work and dropped the car off today. Can't be mad paying $250 for $1K+ job. Also finally got my boost tap so I'll hopefully get the gauge wired up this week. Also probably gonna get Eurodyne this week and tune it. Got an unexpected check so why not lol.

So they finally started working on my car tonight, should be done tomorrow hopefully. The tech who's fixing it has had a ridiculous amount of work and is finally getting to it thankfully, I've missed it lol. My rental is CC, which is nice but not my style. In the mean time I purchased Eurodyne Maestro and have been emailing them so when I get the car back I can tune it when I get home. I can't wait to get it tuned and drive it because the weather here is getting pretty chilly. I also purchased some Blizzaks form a buddy for winter and picked up the ECS street shield. Within the next week or 2 I'll be going to winter mode and raising the car all the way up just for shits and gigs. After I'm sick of it, I'll lower it to around stock level. Here are the pics

Finally gonna update this since its been almost a year lol. Not much has changed with the car. I had a buddy do a full exterior detail on the car and it looks amazing. Also changed the OEM halogens to LEDs from deautokey and love em. Purchased new pads & rotors for the front as they were worn. I went with EBC slotted and Brembo pads, I have no complaints. Also picked up some Austin's while I was in Colorado for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. As for future mods, rear slotted rotors and pads cause they're getting worn. Other than that I'm pretty happy with everything. Here's some photos!
