I am going to clean it up once it gets here. The red is a little to flashy for a car with such a classy looking color.

I am still confused what you guys are talking about, is it Walter's car that you are referencing? If so all NA GTIs I have seen have the red stripes on the grill and the red calipers.

Yea they are saying that the red-stripe/calipers don't quite match the Shadow Blue GTI that well. I am stuck in the middle of whether I want to keep it like that or get it painted.

I think it looks great as is, Shadow Blue is the best color available IMHO.

I agree with 2 things you posted:

1) Shadow blue is THE BEST looking car

2) Performance > Stance

Negotiated down to $23,900 before taxes & etc out in Pasadena, CA. (A lot of the negotiating was done through email) but wow, taxes & etc. murders it.

-2010 GTI autoDSG 2dr with bluetooth, matkit, & 18" denvers. It's port stock so I've gotta wait a couple days for it

You found one without a sunroof? Wish there were more, if yes.

I agree. The blue looks great with the red accents as is. No need to change anything.

Yea, surprisingly there's a handful without sunroofs down in here in LA. A lot of dealerships I dealt with had them in stock.
