What Bolt size to mount engine on stand?

Like the title states. I want to know what bolt size do i need to bolt my engine onto a engine stand. I am picking up my old engine and i bought an engine stand. I want to start working on the engine myself and if possible rebuild it. The engine is out of my 2013 gti cbfa. Witch was replaced. Does any one have the dimensions of the bolts they used? Thanks

Well most engine stands will have bolts that match the hoist or stand. You dont have to pair the correct bolt for the engine if its just holding the engine, it really doesn't matter. Use the hardware that matches the stand.
