Modified exhaust citation quesion

Welp it finally happened, got a correctable citation for my cat-less exhaust by good ol' CHP. (catless cts + borla resonator).

Question is, once i revert the entire exhaust with my old oem exhaust, who signs this off and how? I just appear in court and they'll inspect it there and clear me of the citation? Thanks.

EDIT: Citation is from LA sheriffs dept. not CHP.

You should be able to go to any station in your area and have an officer or clerk sign off

This^ .. Sometimes if you catch a cop in a good mood at Starbucks or something they'll sign it off for you on the spot but for an exhaust inspection (i.e. the guy needs to get down and look from the ground) it's better to just go to a local station and have them sign off.
