We’ve had some questions about the various options on the system, so here it all is, in one place.

The AWE Tuning Golf R Performance Exhaust is available in three variations + AWE Tuning Performance Downpipe:

The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust. This option comes sans exhaust valve, but offers the ability to upgrade later to both a valved system (The SwitchPath™ Exhaust) and to add the Activator Button at a later date as well. Systems from $1099.00.

The AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust. The first of two SwitchPath Exhaust options, this system utilizes a valve which works off of the factory settings, with the ability to later upgrade to the full SwitchPath Exhaust with Activator Button. Systems from $1399.00.

The AWE Tuning SwitchPath™ Exhaust with Activator Button. The second SwitchPath Exhaust option includes the same components as the SwitchPath Exhaust above, with the addition of the Activator Button which allows you to toggle between having the valve open and closed at your own preference via an in-cabin button. Systems from $1799.00.

The AWE Tuning Golf R Performance Downpipe. The Golf R Downpipe’s 3” design allows for a more aggressive tone and gains of +22hp and +17tq. The Golf R Downpipe retails for $1299.00

All the options, including more photos and product videos, right here. And VW Performance Specialists await, 1.888.565.2257, 215.658.1670 or performance@AWE-Tuning.com.

Any Installation on the system?

Does any one has purchase and install the full Golf R AWE system? (excluding the RED Golf R)

I see a lot of marketing, but I have not heard from any one that has this exhaust.

With another round of AWE Tuning Golf R SwitchPath™ and Track Edition Exhausts out the door, it’s safe to say that many are taking advantage of AWE Tuning’s Holiday Special Pricing to get their hands on the best sounding Golf R system on the market. This particular SwitchPath Edition with Activator went on a Golf R which also is running our soon to be released C|C|B Intake.

Find out more about the entire AWE Tuning Golf R Exhaust family including the SwitchPath™ systems, right here.

Will,

I have APR stage II + on my Golf R. Does this system will be compatible with my tinning from APR?

Thank you

This system can be used with any tuner's performance programs as well as any aftermarket exhaust components that bolt in the stock location in an OEM style connection.
