with this kind of mileage, have you had the timing chain tensioner replaced??
ONLY mid 2012 and up VW GTI's had the new updated tensioner installed from factory

Yes, thank you for pointing that out. At approximately 130,000 kms I had the following replaced:
Timing chain, timing chain guides, timing chain tensioner, cam followers and a new oil dipstick.
All work was performed at iGarage and I have the invoice for proof of replacement.
