Did the 1/4" tube mod for the wind noise. All the high pitched whistling noise is all gone!

Love it. It's the little things...

Nice! I'm going to try this out too. Lovin' all the small but effective mods on this thread.

LED tails installed yesterday. I don't know what happened to my wiper plug. Hoping it gets here today. Here's a crappy iPhone shot of the tails.

Rear wiper delete done today. Took about an hour. I managed to mess up my left reverse light in the process. Idk what's wrong with it. Here's a few pics.

Looking good man, sorry to hear about your LED tails. I love those vinyl inlays for the rear badge. Are you planning on painting the vw badge?

I have a gloss black one at the ready. Just kind of riding the chrome for a bit. I have the chrome up front too.

Yeah the fitment isn't great, it's good enough though. My left outer has a nice gap at the bottom while my right outer sits pretty flush. I just don't think they care enough to make a change.

I paid $25 for the side marker vinyl. I got a roll from Klii Motorwerkes.

The vinyl on my old Golf was done at AeroWerkz out in Industry. Great guys and a good price!

Maybe the clear shim is stuck on the car without you realising and its sitting on that pushing it up slightly or it is not sitting correctly in the guide.
You can also loosen the adjustment screws and it will drop a little.
Mine aligned up perfectly without me even bothering or thinking about it. Didn't concern myself with adjusting either and never used the shims.

Wow that's good fitment. I didn't even realize there were adjustable torx screws lol.

Dose helped guide me thru my reverse bulb error issue. All fixed with no error on the dash.

What to do next...

Ah you can't say that and not tell me what the issue was and how it was fixed!!

I didn't know about the adjustable screws until a year later. They just went on like that.

Don't do the black badge!!

Change to Red footwell bulbs??
