I edited my previous comment, guess I wasn't ninja enough. I can absolutely argue facts, I just choose not to with people who will NO MATTER WHAT IS SHOWN will never change their mind. Like I said, you and I come from drastically different backgrounds and will NEVER agree on everything. I'm sure there are actually plenty of political points that we do agree on. Hell I'm sure there are actually plenty of political points that both Romney and Obama agree on, but that's just not how this election game works.

Actually I believe GK has been shown to change his stance on a couple points here, based solely on evidence provided. The best idea is, unlike most republicans, to present your evidence and let people decide for themselves. I say "most republicans" because the republican way tends to be the assumption that "my way is right" so everyone must follow it, or they are mentally deficient...

I am a fiscal republican, social democrat. Have been for years. I consider myself, and based on data over every election since I have been legal to vote (6 Presidential elections if you are curious. I was only able to vote in 4 of those due to military commitments) continue to side with democrats. I do so not because I think republicans are "wrong"... I do so because of the two evils, I find the democratic way "less evil" than the republican way...

So, any way; post up your facts.

According to the current BBC totals: 57,953,121 Americans (Obama + Romney combined) have so far voted in support of extrajudicial assassinations, undeclared wars, and indefinite detention without charges.

Land of the Free, indeed.

OK, I'll ask for specifics that you wont give me, but OK.

Probably a KY wrestling match.

Thank you. All I ever ask for from people are specifics/examples and logic and reason, but it is hard to get. I've never said the dems are perfect or anywhere near it. I've never said Obama is the best prez either, but he isn't the anti-christ, he isn't a socialist by the true definition of the word, and this country HAS been recovering since 2008 - slow, but recovering, but people who tell me that we "need to take the country back" and all this other bullshit just have fox news talking points and apparently never paid attention to politics or the economy prior to Barry O taking office.

You have GREAT points on the mental deficiency claim and the "no need to explain" theory/M.O. from the right, and I know other people just like you - fiscal conservative, progressive/centralist on social issues, but the repub party went full out bat shit crazy this time around.

Part of me really doesn't mind if Romney wins.. I want people to finally see that the trickle down doesn't work - and hasn't worked - for a long time now and then they can blame someone else for the next four years, and who knows, maybe the congress can actually do something? who knows anymore... but I will complain about gas prices, the economy, etc, etc, all day every day - oh wait, sounds like when Bush was in office and no one listened then either.

Well bama won, so you guys can all stop bickering and trying to convince one another. 4 more years of the efforts of a dem prez being fought every step of the way by a repub house.

Roseanne barr never had a chance...
