Alternatives to Neuspeed FMIC nutserts?

///Audience

Ready to race!
I bought a used Neuspeed intercooler off a member and am needing a way to mount it. The kit typically comes with a pair of nutserts which can be bought from Neuspeed for a whopping $30 from this link

Are there any good alternatives to avoid buying this? I bought a nutsert tool from Harbor freight but don't have the same size nutserts as the neuspeed uses.

Is the tool included just for setting the nutserts or does it serve another purpose?

God that thing is such a bitch to work with.

Buy a nut, washer, and bolt. Same concept but 10x simpler.

I actually messed mine up and had to drill the bracket to fit english sizes. It was not fun.

Edit: Actually i don't think you can put a nut back there. Not sure if I could have gotten my hand behind it. What I did was I opened up the bracket to english sizes and used an english nutsert that I found from a small hardware shop. You'll need a drill press though to widen the bracket up.

^^ THIS.

Those nutserts are a BITCH, just get a nut, bolt, and washer. It's a pain but you can get one back there, trust me.
