Are all mk6 gti stock downpipes the same? Does it matter which engine code you have?

02 sensors positions~kinda
ccta have 3...one right after turbo then one before and after secondary cat
cbfa have 2...one before and after secondary cat, the 3rd o2 sensor on cbfa cars is in the turbo

Are you sure you don't have this backwards? I'm pretty sure that CBFA downpipes have to have 3 o2 sensors and CCTAs only have 2...

CBFA have 3 sensors.
CCTA is 2.


Most after market downpipes that dont let you choose CCTA or CBFA come with 3 bungs and a plug to fill one of them if CCTA.

CBFA has a sensor before & after the cat. The third sensor is on the turbo. CCTA has one sensor on the DP next to the turbo and one post cat.

On the downpipes CBFA has 2 O2 sensor bungs, CCTA has 3.
(the third O2 sensor is on the turbo housing for CBFA)
