Not speculating. At Fastivus which is an event in SoCal that VW hosts they literally announced it. They said that they heard one of the biggest concerns with the mk6 is that you can not defeat traction control and I quote "we heard and now traction control will be fully defeatable!!" Something along those lines. That means that you will be able to turn off tc completely without messing with vcds settings or anything just a simple button.
