Whats up guys? im new to this forum and to cars in general... i just bought the new 2010 gti.. i got the 2.0L turbocharged, in-line 4 cylinder direct injection engine. basically, should getting an intake be enough to do that? and what else could provide my gti more deeper sound and power without going through all those "stages." its just really confusing trying to figure out what "stage 1, stage 2, etc." is by reading all the terms spoken by all the car heads in the forum. if any1 could help, that would be great.

Good questions? Also, will an aftermarket intake make the dv sound louder?

yes, an aftermarket with make the dv sound louder and you will hear more engine noise too.

stock GTI exhaust is 2.5" in diameter. Go with an aftermarket exhaust that is either 2.75 or 3" with the intake and you should be satisfied.
