Anyone have some opinions on Koni Yellows? I'm thinking of switching

Only from my Volvo days - had Koni Yellows on then went with Bilstein HD for a change of pace. The Bilsteins were FAR worse ride quality for no perceptible performance difference. All this was on a 1.5 inch drop (and 500 more pounds on the CW, even more GW).

I get a lot of bounce almost as if I overshoot the equilibrium, but it dampens quickly. Do the Yellows "bounce" more? I need something softer because I can literally feel my nuts rattle on the unpaved portion of my drive.

Its been 3 years since I last had them and they had 20k on them when I changed them out, but my memory is they bounce LESS. Someone else is almost certainly more capable to answer that question.

IMO, they were a far better companion to the springs I had in a setup that can in no way be really compared to a GTI.

UPDATE:

Nothing much done. Just a little painted engine bay cover and a nice wash and wax. I want to hurry up and trade these wheels up so I can get my suspension reworked to suit my daily driving needs!

Enjoy.
