Apparently the top speed of the GTI is ~150mph, and the Golf ~125mph

Anyone hit top speed?

And at that point, are you redlining, or is it limited?

124 on the golf, hit it couple times and i am quiet far away from redline, at about 4k rpm on 5th gear.

stock it is limited, stage one flash ecu limiter removed.

Depends on the size of your balls.


GTi stock is 124-126 too. Stage one about 140 stage 2 I have gone 146.

How stable is the car at those speeds...?
