Thread: DIY - HD Clutch Stop - for less than a dollar! for all MK6 Golf 5 and 6MT

I just got my MK6 GTI this past weekend and I wanted to give props to the OP for posting this up. I did this "mod" pretty much a day after I got the car and it's really improved the driving experience. One of the first things I noted when I test drove the car was the long clutch travel and this fixed it right up.

Very solid feel using the anti-skid pad and I had 1.5" metal washers that worked perfect for fine tuning the pedal. Honestly this setup is better than what's being sold online for $5-$10 a pop on eBay or some websites.

I got one of these for I think $10 on ebay, functions really well for the intended use. I just disliked having it in. Maybe I had my delay insert removed it would make it worth it having the clutch stop, but it just didn't feel like it was supposed to having it in. I can add it back in less than one minute, so maybe in the future.
