Hello, I notice there was some spots on my drive way where my golf sits. I opened the hood to see and notice some oil pooled on the valve cover behind the ignition coils. Has anyone seen this problem before?

If you remove a coil pack, is there oil on it and on the spark ? If yes, it's probably your valve cover gasket which started to leak, it's recommended to change it around 160 000km.
It cost 30$ CAD taxes included at NAPA and it takes like 1 day to receive it. The gasket is easy to replace, it should take maximum 30 mins.
NAPA sell the same gasket that VW would sell you, the brand is Victor Reinz.

+1 Thanks, I will have to replace mine too before it leaks.
