The module you need is 1Z0 035 729 C with its antenna.

Vagcom is not required as it is 100% plug and play, unless you need voice command.

Only coding required to enhance the function is
- to change the steering wheel microphone button from mute to voice command(if required).

You will loose two fuctions
- bluetooth A2DP music streaming. MDI will still work 100%.
- Buttons next to the sunroof.

I am not trying to downplay the standard version, its just funny how its suppose to be hands free when you have to push a button on your phone to start voice command, to dial out, and to see who is calling in.

But I guess I will leave the standard. Would like stuff working =p

^ agreed, it's kinda lame that you can't make an outgoing call with the base unit... but i guess it's the entry level unit - tho for $199 list it's not bargain basement...

i won't be upgrading either...
