Engine wistle after first hard run

Well I took my first hard run got about 500 miles and figured it was time to open her up shifting to about 6000 rpm I have an mt btw when I got back to my girls house my engine was making a wistling noise any ideas? Also about a half hour b4 the run I drove about and hour. Any advice would be appreciated one more thing sorry guys I'm multitasking while fishing I started it up about ten min later and no wistle. I'm puzzled???

Any modifications to the car?

Probably just the cooling pump + fan running to cool the car down after a hard run. Circulates oil to the turbo to avoid it burning and melting into little pieces.

It stays on even if the engine is turned off until the engine is cool enough.

cooling fan.....freaked me out the first time too.....shuts off after about 5-10 min:thumbsup:
