I knew of one dealer still in operation into the early '90s, who sold Alfa, Fiat, Renault and Lotus, but I haven't seen any available for more than a decade, except of course for the Lotus Elise, which was really hot in LA a few years ago.

Fiat is gearing up to start selling the new 500 by the end of this year in the US. It will be manufactured by Chrysler in Mexico. The 500C (convertible, but with conventional sides) will be sold in the US next spring. The Abarth will follow, they announced. I'd have snapped a 500C (preferably Abarth) but I needed a new car last May and couldn't have waited 1+ years.

Alfa Romeo is supposed to come back to NA in 2012 with a successor of the 159 midsize sedan/wagon currently sold in Europe, and other models to follow, including the stunning Giulietta (Golf competitor in Europe).
