From a BMW to a Driver's Edition

Hello all,
My name is Thamer and I am currently in Austin, TX! Going back to Norman, OK in a month.

Just traded in my e92 07 328i and got a brand new GTI.
Have had the BMW for 4 years, it was fun and a great car. However, it costs a fortune when it has about 100K miles.
BMW had exterior mods and some performance.
1- Front lip.
2- M3 side skirts.
3- M sport rear bumper.
4- Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid.
5- Carbon fiber side mirrors.
6- Linea Corse 818 Wheels (19s)
7- BMW performance exhaust.
8- AFE cold air intake.
9- KW V1 coilovers.

Pictures were taken before all mods were installed.

For the GTI, there are some plans but have to do some research about warranty issues.
As for now, I tinted to windows (15%) the 2nd day and deleting the resonator this afternoon and getting 3" tips.

Wow, that bimmer is stunning.

Edit: read the rest of your post. BEFORE YOU SPEND MONEY ON THAT RES DELETE consider that if you go buy an aftermarket downpipe, you can flash your CPU to stage 2 and pick up a good 45whp, 55wtq. It'll hang with 335xi's all day, 335i's w/ driver mod (or DSG )

Thank you sir, I will make sure to keep the resonator and not to throw it away . It is easy to take it off and weld back again when I decide on tuning.

I used to see your car on campus all the time! I have the grey mk6 2dr.

I believe I saw your car a couple of times! Did you know Dex with the blue 135i? Also, how is the dealer in Norman or OKC, are the mods friendly?

Yeah I'm good friends with Alex (dex's best friend). Fowler is okay... Make sure to talk to Rob whenever you go in to get service. Also check out wetdub.com... Our local vw/Audi club.
