Maybe a US service man stationed in Germany, ex-pat that imported his ride, or bought the car overseas and imported it... personally I am leaning toward the first two.

im stationed here, i could have bought a german spec gti, but its more expensive, euro-dollar conversion, and it was going to be really difficult to take back. Plus mine was tax free, i bought it with a program they have over here for the military

awesome. cw ftw!! ;) to be honest i prefer the rims u ave rather than the 18" ones. the colour looks cleaner.
