Definitely do it and get the shifter shaft bushings as well.

I got the DieselGeek shifter shaft bushings as well as the upgraded sigma slider installed. Also installed a set of CTS Billet Shifter Bracket Bushings (they were on sale for $19 so I couldn't resist). Tightened everything up but I'm still chasing down some side-side play at the shift knob in 3/4/5/6th gears; need to realign the shifter and see if that solves the problem. 1st and 2nd gears are perfect now though.

A few pics in my build thread but these parts aren't exactly glamorous to photograph haha.
