VW Golf hatch pop mod

Good afternoon, i have seen this video and i am curious on how to make this mod to my mk6. has anyone got any directions to give me so that i can do this mod on my my mk6 golf? it looks interesting as i feel that the button to unlock the boot is useless as it opens and closes immediately.

it's like VW forgot to add this to the golf!
