Mk6 vs MK7, my simple auto show comparison

One rumor I read in a car mag was we (the USA) will not be getting the larger Navi Screen size either. Thats a bummer.

Seems the MK7 Clark Plaid has allot more red in it.

Its a sweet car no doubt. Lets see if VW fixed some issues :paddle:

If this new car comes with water pump failures and such like the MK6 their engineers need to be fired. :slice:

The fact that its going to be built in Mexico isn't too big a deal, sign of the times in cost savings. It is, what it is.

don't know how DOT let VW stick anything red in the headlamps.

Either way, The R looks great without those red lines.... For some odd reason, I just think it looks juvenile.

The rear wheels need to be spaced out a little.

Otherwise, nice...but the R is the looker between the two.

I've been waiting for this car to hit the market. If I'm not mistaken, we're looking at the beginning of 2015. In comparison, I'm glad the MK7 will be lighter than the current model. I also like the new touches in the interior, which some may call cheap. The wheels, to me, is so so. The headlights with the red strip is hideous.

If I hear one more thing about Mexico, I think I'm going to end it all. I highly doubt that VW would ruin their name with cheap engineering for the US market.
