Does anyone know the final assembly point for the 2012 Golf R???

Where is the engine and transmission made??

just walk into a dealership and open the drivers door it will tell you where everything is made

Pretty sure it's germany. My GTI is from germany, not sure why a R wouldn't be.

My window sticker for our car states: 1% parts U.S./Candian. Major sources of foreign parts content 61% Final Assembly Point: Wolfsburg, Germany. Country of Orgin Engine: Hungary. Transmission: Germany

My Golf R only says germany...

R comes from Germany - I'm picking mine up at the factory in Wolfsburg.
