HID Conversion

Just wondering, do I need HID Conversion or could I just buy upgrade xenon bulbs and fit those into my car? Currently, I have bog standard halogen(?) ones on a 1.4TSi. Been looking at HIDS4U and Hoen site.

My real point is, why convert the headlamp set if you can simply stick in a different bulb instead?

there's plug n play HID conversion kits that have everything you need to install. Very easy...

I haven't seen any plug n play HID kits for the MK6. VW changed the wiring and bulb housing. The halogen bulbs don't have any exposed wires running to them. It takes some serious modding to make it work.
