What the hell is a hilfloskind?!?!?

Here is my journal because all the cool kids are doing it...

2011 carbon steel grey, 4 door, 6 speed manual transmission
Package options at the time of purchase were option level 3 which is sunroof, navigation, adaptive xenon headlights. I also have the mat kit which includes monster mats and the cargo protection package with the mutant legos for extra lulz. Of course, 18" detroits are standard on this MY.

btw you're hesitating between red GTI emblems and stage 2 + DP ??! hahah there's a small difference :p

I just don't know if I really want to do the red emblems at all...more specifically, I am hesitant because I've seen a few variances between lettering sizes. I saw some that seem to leave a little gap around the edge of the emblem plate on the front grill. I really do not want to be stuck with that. I need to do more research to confirm which red emblem fits the front plate the most precisely.

Now that I have that FAST plate frame with the red logo, it really would mesh nicely to have the red lettering GTI emblems. Once I find the best fit, it will likely happen.

Stage two is not even a question of if, just a question of when.

IMHO dnt do red emblems.. coz i think it matches the VW logo.. if you want red letters then you should get a red VW logo too.. but i think we both agree that would look even worse..
nway.. pics about that FAST frame?

Oh, and how hard is a sub install? I installed one on my previous car about 7 years ago, and I don't want to deal with drilling through the firewall again for the battery tap, hah.
