Aftermarket Android Head Unit

Hi guys,

Newbie here and can't seem to find anything via the search button.

Would I lose the Bluetooth call compatibility already on the car? It is a 2009 GTi.

Get an Audiosource DS-811. Works fine, with a little quirks here and there but for what I paid for it, I cannot complain.

It doesn't seem to be available on the UK market unfortunately.

For bluetooth, at least for the one I have it works for everything... but the mic is terrible. Terrible... only works well if your face is next to the headunit, with the car off.

So I can't comment on that one you linked, but i can't imagine it being dramticly better.

It's speedy, fm is great.. No real issues.. Just some quirks that you live with.

@Nezoid I assume there's no option of adding an external mic?
