Hello! This is my first post here on the forums. For about a week I have been having issues with my stock MK6 GTI. It started with stalling at idle. Then a CEL came on and the entire drive home my tach was fluttering. When I checked the codes with my Obdeleven I got P0101, P0299 and P2188. The first thing I did was clean my MAF sensor. But after doing this the issue got worse and I could not even take it out of the driveway.
Without the MAF plugged in it ran smoothly. Believing this to be the issue I replaced the MAF. This didn't solve the issue. I'm still stalling at idle, I hear a whoosh noise I initially mistook for turbo noise coming from somewhere in the engine when I hit 3k RPM and my bank 1 fuel trim is at -25%. I've inspected and water tested my turbo lines leading to the intercooler all seemed fine with No bubbles. no shops anywhere near by have the equipment to do a smoke test. Anyone have any helpful tips on where I should look next?
