eBay OEM Intake Manifold Better ???

I met a guy at the VW Parts Counter, he says after his accident where the intake manifold was replaced with an OEM version, his car has been performing better.

Don't know him but hmmm .... .

Sounds like maybe he had an issue before replacing the intake manifold that he didn't know about which got fixed with the new IM. Or he smoked a bunch of crack before picking his car up at the shop.

Could be all of the above!

He didn't say the year of his Mk6, but there are runner length difference between versions indicated by the letter at the end of the part number.

On the assumption at he is correct, maybe the runners are not as restrictive as the VW manifold, ... food for thought.
