The steering wheel controls are red because all the hard press control backlights in the car are red (AC, Windows, Radio, overhead, etc)
Have used many systems and the 9500ci Radar and Laser Defense System has no equal.
The draw back it needs to be installed by a professional and is rather $$$$$. Most upper end sport cars have these systems installed.
The system is GPS powered so it can be updated and it learns. It talks to you when your approaching Red Light Cameras, Speed Cameras, when it is Laser Shifting if you have jammers installed.
Also has Total Shield Technology which makes this system totally undetectable by any radar detector detector (RDD).
I have seen this system after being installed be totally stealth and integrated into the car layout that you can not even tell its in the car.

My goal was for it to be a total stealth install. I am very pleased with both the install and how impressive this system is. Was a bonus that it has a blue glow to it at night keeping it looking completely OEM.
The laser shifting is also very impressive since I have jammers in the front.

I have the k40 integrated radar detector and laser defuser.
It also is gps enabled so u can mark your location (typically those with red light camera's)

The following is K40's RL360 radar detector and laser defuser.
How it works:
System is audible (male or female voice).
Speaks out the equivalent of the light sequence.
Left led flashes = front radar detected
Right led flashes = rear radar detected
Both simultaneously flash = laser blocked
The greatest is having gps, it also mutes iteslf at speed lower than 25mph (i.e. - grocery store parking lots, damn electric doors :thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown, but led's still flash ...
All around the best system I have ever had :thumbup:
